Buy the Right PC and Save Money
Wouldn't it be nice to be able to customize everything in life?
How nice would it be if you could customize you spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend, whichever the case may be?
This is not about relationships, rather your relationship with your computer. We all have different needs in what we need in a PC. For a writer, the best writing software and configuration in a computer is desirable for needs of customization. An artist would want to make sure that it has the right graphics card capable of handling the lasted software in graphics design.
The same goes with gamer. A person who is addicted and loves to play games either online or offline, your computer must be equipped with the right type of Ram memory and a powerful graphics and video card. Purchasing the wrong type of computer will only be a huge disappointment once you take it home.
The one drawback of buying a computer at a department or computer store is that you take what is available. There will be the different brands of computers and several of the same brands, but different model types of that brand. From my own experience, buying what is available at the store, does not measure up to what I can order online.
Rarely will these computers be business computers. The software and computer at the department geared for home computer use. What does that mean?
In general, a home computer is made with cheaper parts (less quality) than a business computer. For many people this is fine. Home PCs are on the average are less expensive. However, keep in mind that the quality for a home computer often does not match the quality of a business computer. If you are lucky enough to get software loaded on your computer, your will see that it is the Home version, rather than the more powerful Business version. For the most part the software on your PC is to try it before you buy it. That software will be the home version. For instance, "Windows 7 Home", if it states "Windows 7 Professional" then you have a more powerful software.
Buying a computer at a department store or electronics store is like buying a car with the basic standards. You can say, "Well, I like this computer, but I would like to this other graphics card, or more memory in it." On the other hand, perhaps you would like a different monitor than the one that comes with it. Sometimes you can, but for the most part, you buy the package that comes with it. Everything else is extra.
Going to the PC website and pick, the type of computer that fits your needs is the smartest choice. I would recommend paying a little extra for a business computer, but the online sites usually offer both types. With customization, you can build onto the model that you choose or take away something that you do not need.
