Benefits of Red Kidney Beans
Red kidney beans provide a large amount of folate and tryptophan. Folate is a natural form of folic acid, also known as B1. Folic acid aids in producing healthy red blood cells and prevent anemia. Folate is necessary for the production and maintenance of healthy new cells growth, and for preventing changes to DNA and thus preventing cancer.
Tryptophan supports feelings of well-being, calm, serenity, relaxation, and concentration. It helps with low mood swings and mild manic states. Tryptophan is a natural sleep aid. It reduces carbohydrate cravings, thus aiding in supporting healthy weight.

I'm no longer in the June Food Contest. I blew it with recipe hubs which should be later this month. I went through the contest links instead of the HobMob links, so I am not part of that either. But I will keep this RSS here so you can read the great hubs for these Hubbers.
I am too far behind on everything, it is best to not continue with the contest. But please visit my recipe hubs and leave a comment.
